Shalom and welcome to the Jewish Congregation of New Paltz, a spirited and friendly Reconstructionist Synagogue. At the JCNP, a diverse group of people come together to form a warm, spiritual and intellectually invigorating Jewish community. You will find links on this page to three forms you will need if you are considering membership in the Jewish Congregation of New Paltz:

·     FAMILY INFORMATION FORM: The Membership Committee uses this form to keep our database up to date and to enhance communications.

·          DUES PLEDGE FORM: Dues are calculated in two parts: an income based amount reflecting your financial situation, and a minimum amount based on your family type. In determining your pledge, please keep in mind that we count on the accuracy of these pledges in planning our programming. So while we need you to be as generous as you are able, we also urge you to pledge realistically.

 

Anyone who is unable to meet the minimum dues commitment can contact Wendy Rudder, Dues Committee Chair, at (845) 255-0436 to make alternate arrangements.  It is our policy not to bar families from membership based on financial hardship.

 

·         HEBREW SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORM: Hebrew School tuition is based on your child’s class. Hebrew School classes begin September 14, 2010. Please be advised that, with the exception of Chaverim Arts, children are not allowed to begin attending Hebrew School until membership arrangements are complete. Chaverim Arts is offered without charge to non-members as well as members; however, registration is required.

Checks should be made payable to Jewish Congregation of New Paltz. An initial quarter payment is due with this form by August 31, 2010 (July 31 for $25.00 discount).
