Reminder!  $25 Discount for Early Return of Membership Continuation Forms!

To all members of the congregation:  If you haven’t already received your Membership Continuation package in the mail, you will be receiving it very soon.  As you may have read in the Sh’ma, the process of membership continuation has changed, and one of the changes is that returning your renewal forms, your Hebrew School forms (as applicable), and one quarter of your yearly pledge will earn you a $25 discount.  Early payment will be a huge help to our Hebrew School Committee as they plan for the start of Hebrew School in September, and it will also assist the Finance Committee and the treasurer in budgeting for the coming year.

Other changes: There is now an Assumption of Renewal.  Unless you have notified the Membership Chair that you are not renewing, if your forms are not received by two weeks after their due date it will be assumed at the previous year’s pledge amount, and you will be billed accordingly.

Also, those individuals and families who have had Special Dues Arrangements this year will get a phone call in June regarding next year. Financial hardship should never stand in the way of being a part of the JCNPcommunity.

The New Timeline

Mid-June          Contact for those with Special Dues Arrangements will be initiated. 

August 1                      $25.00 Early Continuation discount deadline.

September 1        Membership and Dues Pledge Forms are due. 

September 15      Bill at previous year’s rate, plus any balance due, to go out to anyone who has not sent in continuation paperwork, and not notified Membership Chair that they will not be renewing.

The Membership Committee, Hebrew School Committee, and Finance Committee are always looking for better ways to serve the JCNP community, and we believe these changes will help us in our efforts to do so.  Thank you in advance for getting your forms and pledges in promptly, and have a great summer!
